December 28, 2007 I started a journey that should take me to Namibia for almost all of 2008. I will be a WorldTeach volunteer, teaching English at Ponhofi Secondary School in the north of Namibia, about 10 km south of the Angolan border.
If and when I can, I will post stories about my time in Namibia here. I can't tell you how regularly this will happen, but I have decided that instead of giving each short piece it's own page, I'll group all of the shorter pieces under the title Namibian Moments. Longer stories, or those that have photos will get their own pages.

You can volunteer a year (or a summer) of your life to WorldTeach, in many interestng places around the world. You don't have to have teachng experience, but it really does help. Alternately, you could help sponsor a WorldTeach volunteer or project.
